All Artterro Kits are packaged in cellophane gift bags. Materials may vary slightly. Why? Read on. Artterro's kits look a little different than your average craft kit. It’s because they’ve turned them inside-out! Most companies spend their money on big cardboard boxes with lots of plastic packaging inside and pennies on the materials. They’ve skipped the excessive packaging and invested in 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper, reusable bags and beautiful high-quality materials that sell themselves. Their kits are assembled at and shipped to JT Puffins (and other retailers) from Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee, WI. It’s important to us to provide jobs to people in need and we are thrilled to work with such a great non-profit organization! These kits feature high-quality natural materials in our kits like 100% wool felt, 100% post-consumer waste decorative handmade paper, glass and wooden beads, cotton thread, hand batiked cotton fabric, and copper wire. We want people to value the materials they are working with so they want to keep them. Artterro is the brainchild of a Madison, WI Artist/Mom who wants everyone to know the joy of making something unique and beautiful with materials that are worth your time.
